Guest speaker: Professor Sue Zlosnik on Patrick McGrath (Stirling event)

We’re very pleased to announce that Sue Zlosnik, Professor of Gothic Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University, will be coming to Stirling to speak on Patrick McGrath this Wednesday March 23 at 4.00.

Professor Zlosnik has published widely on the Gothic. Publications include Daphne du Maurier: Writing, Identity and the Gothic Imagination (1998) and Gothic and the Comic Turn (2005), both with Avril Horner. They are also the editors of Le Gothic (2008), a collection of essays about transatlantic influences and connections in Gothic and an edition of the 1813 novel The Heroine by Eaton Stannard Barrett (2010).

Working alone, Professor Zlosnik has published on a range of writers, including George Meredith, Robert Louis Stevenson, J.R.R. Tolkien and Chuck Palahniuk. Her monograph on Patrick McGrath is due to be published in 2011.
