Deathless prose:

the vampire novel of the century

‘The Horror Writers Association has shortlisted six contenders’ reports the Guardian, ‘ – do they hit the right vein?’

These are the vampire novels chosen:

Stephen King, ‘Salem’s Lot; Charles L Grant, The Soft Whisper of the Dead; Richard Matheson, I am Legend; Kim Newman, Anno Dracula; Anne Rice, Interview with the Vampire; Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Hotel Transylvania.

Not a whiff of Brite’s Lost Souls.
