Jekyll and Hyde haunt Edinburgh

Edinburgh’s One Book – One Edinburgh programme returns after its success with Kidnapped last year to enjoy Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. There are many exciting Gothic themed events to celebrate the dark and haunting nature of Stevenson’s text. There are guided walks around Edinburgh’s wynds and alleys, a reading by Ian Rankin, the book launch of the Graphic edition, screenings of the film in the Edinburgh Filmhouse, FREE BOOKS, a discussion of the Gothic nature of the text by eminent academics sponsered by Napier University, and many exhibitions including the Writers’ Museum collection. The events run through from February into March and many are already sold out. For more information and booking details see the website: click here.
