Do you know if there are any marked differences (in approach, perhaps) between this journal and Gothic Studies?
I’ll ask Dale Townshend about this and get back to you Ilse. He is one of the editors.
I suppose that the main difference is this journal’s specific interest in Horror, in all its cultural forms, with a strong emphasis upon interdisciplinarity. But this is not in any way to suggest that this focus is beyond the remit of _Gothic Studies_ Of course, just how ‘horror’ relates to the broader category of the ‘Gothic’ is a moot point, both historically and conceptually. _Horror Studies_ is simply another peer-reviewed outlet for scholarship on horror, specifically.
