Epitafios -Epitaphs- is a critically acclaimed chilling serial killer mystery; the first miniseries produced by HBO Latin America in association with Pol-Ka, a TV / film Argentinean company. The first season, which has thirteen episodes, was released in 2004 and it was a tremendous success. The second season began on April 19, 2009.  It is availabe on HBO On Demand and it comes with subtitles in English.  Starred by Argentinean well-known actors such as Cecilia Roth, Julio Chavez, Paola Krum, Antonio Birabent among others, Epitaphs ‘s plot reminds of  films such as Se7en or The Silent of the Lambs, or TV series as 24 , however, it has a tone of its own, a distinctive flavour, since Argentinean crime fiction has an undeniable  tradition: Jorge Luis Borges, Adolfo Bioy- Casares -who wrote together under the pseudonym, H. Bustos Domecq, Rodolfo Walsh or Mempo Giardinelli are some of the most important and influential authors in the genre. Epitaphs’ rich complexity is palpable in its multiple layers, – a mysteries upon mysteries plot -, deep characterizations and glamorous backdrop. This is the intro to the second season:

And here is also the trailer, though it is in Spanish, the language is not a barrier!
