Svengali: Gothic Dance at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet

Mark Godden, of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Canada,  has recently choreographed Svengali, a balletic retelling of George Du Maurier's fin-de-siecle Gothic tale of mesmerism.    The ballet will run in Winnipeg at the NAC's Southam Hall from 26-28 January, 2012.  For an interesting newspaper article on the event, see here.
